TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to The Edit Studios.

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and any purchase you make from The Edit Studios, including digital products, templates, courses, creative services and website design services.

By using this website or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them before purchasing. They exist to make sure you know what you're buying, what you can do with it, and what you can expect from us.

ABOUT THE EDIT STUDIOS

The Edit Studios is an independent digital design studio offering website templates, digital products and creative services.

These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through The Edit Studios website and any related sales pages operated by The Edit Studios.

For questions regarding these Terms & Conditions, products, services or an existing purchase, please contact:

hello@theeditstudios.co

PRODUCTS & SERVICES

The Edit Studios offers digital products and creative services, which may include website templates, editable design templates, digital guides, eBooks, planners, courses, educational resources, AI-generated creative services, website design and customisation services, and other products or services made available through our website.

The specific features, contents, format, compatibility, licence rights, price and delivery method of each product or service will be described on the relevant product or service page.

DIGITAL PRODUCTS

Digital products may be delivered through downloadable files, editable templates, access links, online platforms, courses or other digital formats.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, digital products are supplied electronically and no physical product will be shipped.

Where particular software, an account, subscription or third-party platform is required to use a product, this will be identified where reasonably necessary before purchase.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

We make reasonable efforts to describe our products and services accurately and to clearly explain what is included before purchase.

You are responsible for reviewing the relevant product or service description, compatibility information and stated licence before purchasing.

Any product-specific licence, service agreement or additional terms expressly provided for a particular product or service form part of the agreement relating to that purchase.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law.

ORDERS, PRICING & PAYMENT

PRICING

Prices are displayed on the relevant product or service page and may be shown in EUR, USD or another stated currency.

The total price payable will be shown before you complete your purchase. Where applicable, taxes or other charges will be included or clearly identified before payment.

Prices may change from time to time. Any price change will not affect an order that has already been completed and paid for.

Promotional prices, discount codes and special offers may be subject to separate conditions and may be changed or withdrawn at any time before purchase.

PAYMENT

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.

Payments may be processed securely by third-party payment providers, such as Stripe. The Edit Studios does not directly store your full credit or debit card details.

By completing a purchase, you confirm that the payment information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.

Before completing an online purchase, you will be shown the applicable order information and total price. The final purchase action will clearly indicate that completing the order creates an obligation to pay.

ORDERS

An order is considered complete once payment has been successfully processed and you receive confirmation of your purchase.

For digital products, access or delivery will normally be provided electronically after successful payment.

For creative or website services, payment schedules, deposits or instalment arrangements may differ and will be clearly stated on the relevant service page, proposal, invoice or agreement.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where there has been an obvious pricing or technical error, suspected fraudulent activity, unauthorised payment, or where we are unable to fulfil the order.

Where payment has already been taken and an order is cancelled by us, the amount paid for the cancelled order will be refunded.

CURRENCY & PAYMENT PROVIDERS

Your bank or payment provider may apply currency conversion rates or other charges when making a payment in a currency different from your account currency.

These charges are determined by your payment provider and are not controlled by The Edit Studios.

DIGITAL DELIVERY, CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

DIGITAL DELIVERY

Digital products are delivered electronically using the delivery method stated on the relevant product page or checkout.

Delivery may include downloadable files, access links, editable templates, course access, online resources or access through a third-party platform.

Most digital products are made available shortly after successful payment. If you do not receive your access or delivery email within a reasonable time, please check your spam, promotions or junk folder and contact hello@theeditstudios.co if you still cannot locate it.

You are responsible for providing a valid email address at checkout and for ensuring that you have access to any software, account or third-party platform clearly identified as necessary for use of the product.

DIGITAL PRODUCTS & THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

If you are purchasing as a consumer, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from certain distance purchases.

For paid digital content supplied immediately and not provided on a physical medium, the right of withdrawal is lost once supply begins where you have:

  1. expressly consented to the digital content being supplied during the withdrawal period;

  2. acknowledged that beginning supply will result in the loss of your right of withdrawal; and

  3. received confirmation of that consent and acknowledgement as required by applicable law.

Where these requirements have been satisfied and supply of the digital content has begun, the purchase cannot be cancelled simply because you change your mind.

Where a statutory right of withdrawal still applies, nothing in these Terms removes or restricts that right.

REFUNDS FOR DIGITAL PRODUCTS

Because digital products can be accessed, downloaded or copied immediately, refunds are generally not provided after digital supply has begun where the applicable right of withdrawal has been validly lost.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

If a digital product is faulty, materially different from its description, inaccessible because of an issue on our side, or otherwise does not conform to the applicable legal requirements, please contact hello@theeditstudios.co so that we can investigate and provide an appropriate remedy.

DUPLICATE PURCHASES

If you believe you have accidentally purchased the same product more than once, contact hello@theeditstudios.co as soon as possible.

Where we can verify a genuine duplicate transaction, we may refund the duplicate charge.

CREATIVE & WEBSITE SERVICES

Cancellation, withdrawal and refund conditions for creative and website services may differ from those applying to digital products.

The applicable conditions will be stated in the relevant service page, proposal, service agreement, booking terms or other project documentation.

Nothing in those terms removes any mandatory cancellation, withdrawal or refund rights that apply under law.

TECHNICAL DELIVERY ISSUES

A failure to locate an email, difficulty opening a link or a temporary technical problem does not automatically mean that a product has not been delivered.

If there is a genuine delivery or access issue, contact hello@theeditstudios.co and we will make reasonable efforts to restore access, provide the correct delivery method or provide another appropriate remedy where required.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & PRODUCT LICENCES

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless otherwise stated, The Edit Studios website, branding, written content, graphics, designs, templates, photographs, videos, digital products, course materials and other original content are protected by intellectual property rights.

Purchasing a product does not automatically transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property to you.

Instead, your purchase gives you the specific rights granted under the licence applicable to that product.

PRODUCT-SPECIFIC LICENCES

Different products may include different usage, commercial or distribution rights.

Depending on the product, these may include:

  • Personal Use Rights

  • Commercial Use Rights

  • Master Resell Rights (MRR)

  • Private Label Rights (PLR)

  • other specifically stated licence or distribution rights

The licence stated on the relevant product page, licence document or product-specific terms governs your use of that product.

Rights granted for one product do not automatically apply to another product.

If a product does not expressly state that resale, redistribution, rebranding, modification or sublicensing is permitted, you should not assume that those rights are included.

The Edit Studios grants only those rights that it owns or is authorised to grant in relation to the relevant product.

MASTER RESELL RIGHTS & PRIVATE LABEL RIGHTS

Where a product expressly includes Master Resell Rights, Private Label Rights or other resale or distribution rights, you may use, modify, brand, market, resell or distribute the product only to the extent permitted by the licence applicable to that specific product.

Product-specific licences may contain restrictions relating to matters such as modification, branding, source files, resale pricing, transfer of resale rights, permitted sales methods, bundling, giveaways or distribution.

Any restrictions contained in the applicable licence must be followed.

Where there is a difference between these general Terms and a product-specific licence concerning how that product may be used, resold or distributed, the product-specific licence governs those usage rights.

WEBSITE TEMPLATES

Unless otherwise stated on the relevant product page, website templates sold by The Edit Studios are licensed for use on one website or business per purchase.

You may customise the template for that website or business, including changing text, images, colours, fonts and other editable design elements.

You may not resell, redistribute, share, sublicense or provide the original template to another person or business unless the applicable licence expressly permits this.

A separate purchase or licence is required for use on an additional website or business.

COURSES & EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS

Unless otherwise stated, courses, training materials, guides and educational resources are licensed for the purchaser's own use.

Course logins, protected materials and private learning resources may not be shared, reproduced, redistributed or resold unless the applicable product expressly grants those rights.

Where a particular course or educational product includes resale, commercial or distribution rights, its product-specific licence or terms will apply.

THE EDIT STUDIOS BRAND

The Edit Studios name, branding, logos and other original brand assets may not be copied or used in a way that falsely suggests affiliation with, endorsement by or ownership of The Edit Studios.

A licence to resell or modify a digital product does not grant permission to represent yourself as The Edit Studios or use The Edit Studios branding as your own unless expressly stated otherwise.

LEGACY BRANDING

Some digital products may contain references to Faceless Empire, a former brand name previously used in connection with these products.

References to Faceless Empire within product files, templates, guides or other materials do not indicate a separate current seller or provider. Products purchased through this website are sold by The Edit Studios and are subject to the applicable terms and licence provided with the product.

Where a product includes resale, rebranding or modification rights, any permitted changes to existing branding remain subject to the specific licence applicable to that product.

THIRD-PARTY ASSETS

Some products or services may include or make use of third-party assets, software, fonts, stock imagery, platform functionality or other materials subject to separate licence terms.

Your use of those elements must comply with the applicable third-party terms.

Where clearly identified as necessary, you may need your own licence, subscription or account to continue using a particular third-party asset, platform or service.

UNAUTHORISED USE

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, sublicense, share or commercially exploit any product or content beyond the rights expressly granted to you.

Where we become aware of unauthorised use, redistribution or infringement, we may take reasonable steps to protect our rights or the rights of the applicable rights holder.

Nothing in this section limits any mandatory rights available to you under applicable law.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCEPTABLE USE

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

When purchasing or using a product or service from The Edit Studios, you are responsible for providing accurate information and using the product or service in accordance with these Terms and any applicable product-specific licence or agreement.

You are responsible for ensuring that your own use, marketing or distribution of our products complies with the laws, regulations and third-party rights applicable to you and your business.

ACCEPTABLE USE

You may use products purchased from The Edit Studios only within the rights granted by the applicable product licence.

Unless expressly permitted by that licence, you must not:

  • copy, share, distribute, resell or sublicense a product;

  • share private course access, customer accounts, download links or other access intended solely for the purchaser;

  • remove or circumvent access restrictions or security measures protecting a product or digital resource;

  • claim ownership or authorship of intellectual property where those rights have not been transferred to you;

  • use The Edit Studios name, branding or materials in a way that falsely suggests affiliation with or endorsement by The Edit Studios;

  • use our website, products or services for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;

  • use a product or material in a way that knowingly infringes another person's intellectual property, privacy or other legal rights.

PRODUCTS WITH RESELL OR COMMERCIAL RIGHTS

Where a product expressly includes Master Resell Rights, Private Label Rights, Commercial Use Rights or other distribution rights, you may exercise those rights in accordance with the licence applicable to that specific product.

An activity otherwise restricted by these Terms is permitted where it is expressly authorised by the applicable product licence.

You remain responsible for complying with the conditions and restrictions of that licence when marketing, selling or distributing the product.

MATERIALS YOU PROVIDE TO US

Where you provide text, photographs, logos, brand assets, images, video, fonts or other materials for a creative or website service, you confirm that you own them or have the necessary rights or permissions for us to use them for the agreed project.

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of materials and information you provide.

If you become aware that material you have supplied cannot lawfully be used as intended, please notify us as soon as reasonably possible.

ACCOUNT & ACCESS SECURITY

Where a product or service provides you with an individual account, login, download link or other private access, you are responsible for taking reasonable steps to keep those access details secure.

Please contact us if you believe access provided to you has been compromised or used without authorisation.

RESULTS & NO INCOME GUARANTEES

RESULTS MAY VARY

The Edit Studios provides digital products, templates, courses, educational resources and creative services designed to provide tools, information, design assets and practical resources.

We do not guarantee that purchasing or using a product or service will produce any particular business, financial, marketing, audience, sales or other result.

Results depend on many factors outside our control, including your business, audience, market, pricing, strategy, experience, implementation and the time and effort you choose to invest.

NO INCOME GUARANTEES

Some products may include information about creating, marketing or selling digital products, building an online business or generating income.

Any examples, illustrations, potential resale prices or discussions of income or business opportunities are provided for informational or illustrative purposes only.

They are not a promise or guarantee that you will earn any particular amount of money.

Purchasing a product with Master Resell Rights, Private Label Rights, Commercial Use Rights or other resale permissions gives you the applicable licence rights, not a guarantee that the product will sell or generate income.

EXAMPLES & TESTIMONIALS

Any testimonials, case studies, examples or results shown on our website or in our marketing represent individual experiences or illustrative examples and should not be understood as a guarantee that you will achieve the same or similar results.

Where we refer to possible selling prices, revenue opportunities or ways a product could be monetised, these are examples rather than guaranteed outcomes.

YOUR BUSINESS DECISIONS

You are responsible for deciding how you use and implement the information, products and resources you purchase from The Edit Studios.

Nothing provided by The Edit Studios should be interpreted as a guarantee of business success, revenue, profit or any other specific commercial outcome.

THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS, TOOLS & SERVICES

THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS

Some products and services offered by The Edit Studios may use, integrate with or require access to third-party platforms, software or services.

These may include website platforms, payment processors, design software, course platforms, email services, cloud storage providers and other digital tools.

Where a particular third-party account, subscription, software or platform is required to use a product, we will make reasonable efforts to identify this before purchase.

THIRD-PARTY TERMS & ACCOUNTS

Your use of a third-party platform or service may also be subject to that provider's own terms, policies, pricing and account requirements.

You are responsible for maintaining any third-party accounts, subscriptions or licences required for your continued use of those services, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise as part of a specific product or service.

Any fees charged directly by a third-party provider are separate from amounts paid to The Edit Studios unless expressly stated otherwise.

CHANGES TO THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Third-party providers may change their features, functionality, pricing, policies, availability, URLs or technical requirements independently of The Edit Studios.

We cannot guarantee that a third-party platform, service, feature or webpage will remain unchanged or available indefinitely.

Where a third-party change materially affects a product or service supplied by The Edit Studios, any obligations we have to you will be handled in accordance with the applicable contract and your mandatory legal rights.

EXTERNAL LINKS IN DIGITAL PRODUCTS

Our digital products, courses, guides and educational resources may contain links to third-party websites, tools, services or other online resources.

These links are provided for convenience and may be accurate at the time the relevant product or resource is created or updated. Third-party providers may later change their URLs, webpages, content, services or website structure without notice to The Edit Studios.

As a result, we cannot guarantee that every external link contained within a digital product will remain active or continue to lead to the same page or resource indefinitely.

Where an external link is no longer available, this does not necessarily mean that the digital product itself is defective or unavailable.

However, where access to a particular third-party resource is necessary for the product to function as described, please contact hello@theeditstudios.co so that we can investigate and, where appropriate, provide an updated link, alternative information or another applicable remedy.

THIRD-PARTY DISRUPTIONS

The Edit Studios is not responsible for outages, account restrictions, discontinued features or other disruptions caused solely by independent third-party providers and outside our reasonable control.

However, nothing in this section excludes or limits any responsibility The Edit Studios has under applicable law for supplying a product or service that conforms to the applicable contract.

LINKS TO THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES

Links to third-party websites or services do not, unless expressly stated otherwise, mean that The Edit Studios owns, controls or endorses those websites, services or their content.

Your use of third-party websites and services is subject to the applicable provider's own terms and privacy policies.

CREATIVE & WEBSITE SERVICES

SERVICE AGREEMENTS

Creative and website services provided by The Edit Studios may include website design, website customisation, brand design, AI creative services and other commissioned creative work.

The specific scope, deliverables, price, payment schedule, timeline and other project requirements will be set out in the relevant service page, proposal, invoice, project agreement or other written documentation provided for that service.

Where project-specific terms are provided, they apply alongside these Terms & Conditions.

PROJECT SCOPE

The services and deliverables included in a project are limited to those described in the agreed project scope.

Additional work, revisions, pages, features, content, services or deliverables requested outside the agreed scope may require an additional fee and may affect the project timeline.

Any additional work will be agreed separately before it is carried out.

CLIENT MATERIALS & INFORMATION

You are responsible for providing any content, information, feedback, approvals, access credentials and other materials reasonably required to complete the project.

Where a project depends on information, materials, access or approval from you, delays in providing them may affect the agreed schedule or delivery date.

You are responsible for reviewing materials and information you provide and for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions for their intended use.

FEEDBACK & APPROVALS

Where a service includes revisions or refinement rounds, the number and scope of those revisions will be stated in the applicable service description or project agreement.

Requests outside the included revision scope may be treated as additional work and quoted separately.

Approval of a design, direction or deliverable allows us to proceed to the next stage of the project. Changes requested after an approved stage may require additional time or fees where they fall outside the agreed scope.

TIMELINES

Project timelines are based on the scope and requirements agreed for the relevant service and may depend on timely communication, feedback, approvals and materials from the client.

Where a delay outside our reasonable control affects the agreed schedule, we will communicate any material change to the expected timeline.

Any specific timing commitments or delivery schedules stated in a service agreement will apply to that project.

PAYMENT FOR SERVICES

Prices, deposits, instalments and payment deadlines for creative and website services will be stated before the relevant service is purchased or commissioned.

Where a project requires a deposit or advance payment, the applicable cancellation and refund conditions will be explained in the relevant service agreement or booking terms.

Failure to make an agreed payment may result in work being paused until the outstanding payment is received, subject to the applicable agreement and mandatory legal rights.

CANCELLATION & WITHDRAWAL RIGHTS

Cancellation and withdrawal rights for services depend on the circumstances of the purchase and any mandatory rights available under applicable consumer law.

Where a consumer requests that a paid service begin during an applicable withdrawal period, any consent, acknowledgement, payment or cancellation consequences required by law will apply.

Nothing in these Terms removes or limits any mandatory right of withdrawal or other consumer right that applies to the purchase.

WEBSITE AVAILABILITY, CHANGES & ERRORS

WEBSITE AVAILABILITY

We make reasonable efforts to keep The Edit Studios website and its content available and functioning correctly.

However, we cannot guarantee that the website, checkout, downloads, customer areas or other online features will always be available without interruption, delay or technical error.

From time to time, access may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

CHANGES TO THE WEBSITE

We may update, modify, remove or replace website content, products, services, features, prices or availability from time to time.

Changes to products, services or prices will not alter the terms of a purchase that has already been completed, except where a change is required by law or otherwise permitted under the applicable agreement.

ERRORS & INACCURACIES

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, prices, availability and other information displayed on the website are accurate.

Occasionally, information may contain typographical errors, technical errors, incorrect pricing or other inaccuracies.

Where we discover an obvious error before an order has been fulfilled, we may contact you to correct the error or, where appropriate, cancel the affected order and refund any amount already paid.

We will not use this provision to alter an agreed purchase simply because we later decide that a different price or term would have been preferable.

TECHNICAL ISSUES

If a technical issue prevents you from receiving or accessing a product you have purchased, please contact hello@theeditstudios.co.

We will make reasonable efforts to investigate the issue and restore access, provide the correct delivery method or otherwise provide an appropriate remedy where required.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

We may discontinue, replace or temporarily remove products or services from sale at any time.

Where you have already purchased a product, any continuing access or delivery rights will be determined by the terms that applied to your purchase and any mandatory rights available under applicable law.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

GENERAL

The Edit Studios will provide its products and services with reasonable care and in accordance with the descriptions, terms and conditions applicable to the relevant purchase.

To the extent permitted by law, The Edit Studios is not responsible for losses or damages that could not reasonably have been anticipated at the time the relevant contract was entered into or that result solely from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in this section excludes or limits responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

BUSINESS & COMMERCIAL RESULTS

The Edit Studios is not responsible for business decisions, strategies or actions you take after using our products, services, courses, templates or educational materials.

We do not guarantee revenue, profit, sales, audience growth, business opportunities or other commercial results from the use of our products or services.

We are not responsible solely because a product or service does not produce the particular business or commercial outcome you hoped to achieve.

This does not affect any rights or remedies available to you where a product or service does not conform to what was agreed or described.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The Edit Studios is not responsible for failures, outages, changes or actions of independent third-party platforms or service providers that are outside our reasonable control.

This does not exclude any responsibility we may have where a third-party service forms part of a product or service that we are legally responsible for supplying.

CUSTOMER ACTIONS

To the extent permitted by law, The Edit Studios is not responsible for loss or damage caused by your misuse of a product, use outside the rights granted by the applicable licence, unauthorised modification, or use of a product for a purpose for which it was not designed or described.

This does not apply where the loss or damage results from something for which The Edit Studios remains legally responsible.

MANDATORY RIGHTS & LIABILITY

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by law.

In particular, nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your mandatory consumer rights or any rights or remedies you may have where a product or service is faulty, does not conform to the contract or has not been supplied as agreed.

GOVERNING LAW & CONSUMER RIGHTS

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions and any contract between you and The Edit Studios are governed by the laws of Spain, except where mandatory consumer protection rules require otherwise.

If you are purchasing as a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under applicable law.

CONSUMER RIGHTS

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or replace any mandatory rights available to you as a consumer.

If any provision of these Terms conflicts with a mandatory legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, that mandatory right will continue to apply.

DISPUTES

If you have a problem with a purchase or service, please contact hello@theeditstudios.co first so that we have an opportunity to understand the issue and try to resolve it.

If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, either party may pursue any rights or remedies available under applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms requires a consumer to bring a claim before a court or tribunal other than one permitted under applicable consumer law.

SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or removed only to the extent necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our products, services, business practices, website, technology or applicable legal requirements.

The most current version will be published on this website together with the date it was last updated.

Changes to these Terms will generally apply from the date the updated version is published and will not retrospectively alter the terms of a purchase or agreement already completed, except where required or permitted by applicable law.

Where a separate agreement or product-specific licence applies to a purchase, changes to these general Terms do not automatically replace the specific rights and obligations agreed under that document.
